The WordLoveWorldLove Project connects Canadian children with children in developing countries, who have been impacted by crises. A global classroom exchange of messages of friendship and compassion, provides an opportunity for children to use their creativity and imagination to better understand one another. Through the simplicity of words, expressed in art and video, children discover they can affect change in their own lives and the lives of others.

In 2010, WordLoveAfrica will be the first in our new series of documentary films by WordLoveWorldLove Project Creator/Producer, Donna Williams of DWD Media Inc. WordLoveAfrica will link a Canadian school with a school in the Kingdom of Lesotho, South Africa. Watch trailer at www.helplesotho.ca.

UNICEF British Columbia Children’s Rights Youth Conference 2009, held at Byrne Creek Secondary, Burnaby, British Columbia, celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Students ages 10-17, worked together with UNICEF and DWD Media, to “Bring a Right to Life” in the Lights Camera Action Video Workshop. Article 24 supports a child’s right to clean water as seen in this You Tube clip.
